100 Years of International Women’s Day
It has to be said that over the years women have contributed towards the development of society in more ways than what was previously recognized and appreciated. Women are a success to themselves and well overdue to being equally recognized throughout society in every country on our planet.
It is clear that women were not treated as equals in history and had they
been I am convinced the world would be a better place. We are all aware that women where not allowed to speak opening and if they did they were severely punished. Thankfully, partly due to ‘International Women’s Day’ that has changed, but not for all women in all parts of the world.
International Women’s Day cannot mention all of the famous females that have contributed to making the world a better place but some incredible examples of women who have given their lives towards creating a better world / society are: Aung San Suu Kyi who is still under house arrest in China for speaking out in wanting to create peace; Marie Curie one of the most famous female scientists ever and of course Florence Nightingale also know as the ‘Lady With The Lamp’ who is famously known for treating soldiers during the Crimean War.
International Women’s Day is all about recognizing and showing it’s appreciation to all of those women have had a huge impact in teaching us the difference between right and wrong and offering everyone an ‘equal
opportunities’ work place and society. In today’s modern society, women have the most difficult job ever. They multitask between being a loving mum and a career mum. Their commitment to their job and the love they give to their family never seems to end.
As the years have gone by more women have become entrepreneurs than men. More women have started their own successful small businesses than ever before and some have even turned them into global business empires.
Year on year we celebrate International Women’s Day and by doing so it has become a well known fact that more women are looking to work from home than ever before due to the busy lifestyles we now live. Women are turning to starting a Home Based Business because it offers them the flexibility to become a ‘stay at home mom’ working their business around their busy and demanding family lives.
I personally have noticed a huge increase in women joining my home based business than ever before, from countries all over the world. As with any successful home business opportunity it does offer an ‘equal opportunities’ business for anyone who has the desire and passion to start a home based business. My own home based business attracts people from all walks of life all over the world regardless of sex or race.
The advantage for me is that I continue to learn how people live, work and play in various parts of the world, but most of all what does intrigue me is how friendly, hard working and motivated people are regardless of their personal circumstances.
International Women’s Day is a great day for all of us to reflect on what women have achieved in history and what they continue to do for mankind. Knowing that my Online Home Business can help, educate and teach women from all walks of life is in some ways my contribution for giving back to the community what it has given me including my dear wife Julie.
