Kindness is Powerful

Mark Twain said it best when he said, “Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” What could be more powerful than something that reaches and touches every single one of us? A true act of kindness is something that is done for no other reason than to be kind to someone whether you believe they deserve it or not.

Some of the most powerful people in the world have been known to believe deeply in the power of kindness. The Dalai Lama is amongst the most significant figures and he said, “My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.” With this religion he has inspired millions of people to follow in his footsteps and do good in the world.
Princess Diana who was well known as ‘The People’s Princess’ for her compassion and her ability to relate to the public said many things of kindness including: “Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.”
